Holistic Preparation for Birth
Enjoy gentle movement, deep relaxation and creative activities to cultivate self-trust

What can I expect?
Pregnancy is a unique opportunity to prepare the body, mind and spirit for birth and beyond.
My approach uses movement, breathing, relaxation and creative exercises to cultivate confidence and self-trust for birth and parenthood.
Birth information is essential but it can also be confusing and overwhelming. I pride myself on striking the balance between information sharing and embodied birth preparation.

Who do I work with?
I work within and outside of the NHS. I work with women, pregnant people, partners, couples and groups. My intention is always to create a welcoming and inclusive space.

Is it for me/us?
Perhaps this is your first pregnancy or maybe you've had a baby before. Perhaps you're at the start of your pregnancy or nearing the end. Perhaps you're single or in a relationship. Perhaps you're excited about birth, perhaps you feel very anxious or perhaps you feel a whole mix of emotions!
Whoever you are and wherever you're at in your pregnancy, you are welcome.
Although my approach to birth preparation is influenced by yoga and hypnobirthing, there is no expectation that these will be familiar practices. In fact, a beginner's mind encourages openness and flexibility, both fantastic tools for parenthood!

What if I'm already doing an antenatal course?
Bespoke sessions can be an alternative or an addition to standard antenatal courses. My approach is holistic and experiential, and we will work together to create something specific to your needs.

What if I'm planning a caesarean birth?
Birth preparation is still valuable. We can work together with movement, relaxation and decision making tools to support you in your caesarean birth and enhance your recovery.
If you're unsure about whether you want a caesarean or vaginal birth, then I can provide a listening ear to explore that without judgement.
